Natural Skin Care Secrets
With the wide range of beauty products avaiable on the market today, it amazes me how many women ( and men) dont know the basic's in skin care. For example, body lotion. How many people will own or buy a beautiful body lotion or face cream and then let it sit on the shelf or in the bathroom drawer becasue it makes them feel 'greasy' or 'oily' etc ? I would bet most of us have encountered that situation. So here is the hint, and it is so simple. 'wipe it off' After applying your body lotion/face cream, allow it to sit on your skin for a minute or two, and then, using a soft cloth ( or towel, or face washer) simply WIPE THE REDSIDUE OFF. Human skin will only absorb so much- to leave creams/lotions on indefinatly will only make you uncomfortable and will clog your pores.
A minute or two is sufficent to allow what is required to be abosrbed and the rest is just 'left overs'. Wipe it off. If you have dry hair, the washer/towel can then be used to dry your hair leaving it soft and smelling nice. A couple of points to remember:
1. your skin only reflects what you eat and how you care for your body- all the creams/lotions/potions in the world can not help you if you neglect your health.
2. The best( and cheapest) skin care lotion or cream is SORBOLENE. I like to add a cap or two or LAVENDER oil for perfume but that is personal choice.
3. You are what you eat- no two ways about it- eat crap, look like crap. To really get the most of the pampering, cover your self in lotion/cream BEFORE you have a shower then pat your skin dry- (no need to reapply after the shower). |
